Units

Each short unit is accredited and you receive a certificate for your achievements. Eight units cover the following subjects:

Budgeting and Money Management – Everyone manages money, we look at ways of doing this.

Banking and Saving – We look at the banking industry, the words they use and how to make the best of their services.

Loans and Borrowing – We look at how to get the best deal and understanding APR

Value for Money – We look at how to get more and spend less

Income Maximisation – Are we getting all the income we can?

Utilities – Understanding how to read and work out bills and what to do if we have a problem

Dealing with Debts - We look at the stages of recovery for priority debts and how to deal with them

Understanding Insurance - What are the alternatives to Insurance? If an event happened could you or your family cope financially?

Sessions last two and half hours with a break in between. Childcare support is available.
